BMW's S58 engine relies on a network of five charge pipes to deliver pressurized air to the intake manifold. While most of these rubber lines hold up well, the factory plastic 2-to-1 charge pipe is a known weak point, often prone to cracking or splitting under pressure, leading to unwanted boost leaks and performance loss.
