The F-connector is located on the air intake boot and provides a connection point for the vacuum lines that run to the brake booster and fuel pressure regulator. The factory connector is made of plastic and with heat and exposure to the elements the connector becomes brittle and potentially cracks. As a result, a vacuum leak occurs which can cause poor idling issues, evap fault codes, and poor performance.

The upper eccentric provides an adjustable pedal ratio to fine tune clutch pedal effort(how heavy the pedal feels). The lower adjustment is to change the position of the clutch assist spring, this allows you to choose where the clutch assisting spring engages.
