The JB4 is the most advanced and highly featured tuning system available for your B48 vehicle. Power gains are up to 40hp to the wheels (55hp crank) on a completely stock car on pump gas for a B48, gains with bolt-on parts, higher octane, and larger turbos are even higher. The JB4 features a simple plug and play installation harness for easy installation & removal and includes many features not found with any other tune. Including on the fly in dash map switching between factory and various performance maps, optional in-dash gauge displays for boost, boost limiting by gear for improved traction in lower gears, progressive water/methanol support, built-in data logging, built-in code reading, optional direct EWG control to prevent throttle closure with exhaust modifications, exhaust flapper control, and much more. Other more expensive tuners may claim to equal the JB4's technology but upon closer examination lack most if not all of the JB4's features. The BMS FPC provides a convenient and reliable way to control your second or third low pressure fuel pump. Inside the billet aluminum enclosure are two dials. One to set the start voltage and another to set the full flow voltage. The pump will turn on at the start voltage and go to 100% duty cycle (full flow) at the maximum voltage. The BMS vacuum side N54 OCC works in conjunction with their world-famous boost side N54 oil catch can to prevent engine oil and PCV gunk from coating your intake valves and hurting engine efficiency under engine vacuum operation. The boost side OCC separates oil traveling through the PCV while the engine is operating under boost pressure (e.g. heavy throttle) and the vacuum side OCC separates oil traveling through the PCV while the engine is operating under vacuum (idle and low throttle). When used together they provide the ultimate protection keeping oil from coating your intake ports and valves during all phases of engine operation! Make tremendous amounts of power on pump gas! Everything you need to get started with WMI in one convenient kit. JB4 compatible! Water/Methanol/Alcohol injection commonly referred to as WMI allows you to make tremendous amounts of power on pump gas. The effect is similar to running 100 octane race gas or E85 fuel all the time with the additional cooling benefits allowing for more power than you can make on race gas or E85 alone. For those that don't have easy E85 access WMI adds a on of power over pump gas, and for those running E85 WMI can still be very useful for its charge air cooling and fuel volume benefits. The key to a safe and effective WMI setup is tuning integration. The B58 BMS WMI kit integrates to the JB4 tuning system allowing for precise mapping based on boost, throttle position, engine speed, intake temperature, advance, gear, and other data elements available to the JB4 through its CANbus system. In addition, a pump flow signal is fed back to the JB4 allowing for a safe and smooth progressive boost mapping. If the tank runs empty or flow drops for any reason the JB4 will safely back down performance to avoid detonation. Boost is held low until WMI is properly flowing to avoid tip in knock common with non-integrated WMI setups. In addition WMI can be activated or disabled right from the JB4 Mobile app and will automatically disengage during traction control or safety map situations. WMI flow data can be displayed via your JB4 Mobile logging device. The plug and play plate adapter for quick installation and removal of BMS dual nozzle water/meth kits without having to replace the factory charge pipe. Simply unscrew three bolts, insert the CNC machined adapter with integrated o-ring in place between the throttle body and intake manifold, and tighten the included longer length bolts, to allow mounting of two meth nozzles with a perfect seal. This water/methanol injection (WMI) tank is a completely custom design that neatly hides away in the left side trunk cavity found in most G20 G22 & G80 M3 & G82 M4 BMW vehicles. Water/Methanol Injection (WMI) nozzles are determined by the intended power and how many bungs your charge pipe has. These nozzles are 1/8” NPT and screw in to bungs included on most aftermarket charge pipes. BMS "super atomizing" nozzles are designed and manufactured by BMS and are known for their great atomization and flow characteristics. The number on the methanol injection nozzle represents the approximate gallons per hour of fluid when at full flow. Generally speaking running two smaller nozzles is preferred to one larger nozzle for an equal flow to improve fluid atomization and distribution.
