The Supersprint 'Race' rear muffler system is one step beyond the standard Sport mufflers. Don't be fooled by the name - the 'Race' mufflers are designed for street use and the name only distinguishes it from the standard Sport system. With the stock system the sound is very subdued. With the 'Race' mufflers the sound is much more noticeable and more aggressive - a perfect sound to compliment the assertive nature of an M6. You will hear this exhaust but it will not be intrusive or sound out of place on a civilized sports/GT car like the M6. Supersprint's sport rear muffler allows more of that engine note to be heard. The stock muffler may be too quiet for some and it's a shame to over-muffle the sound of BMW's engine. The Supersprint muffler is a direct replacement for the stock with all of the original gaskets and hangers. It's a free-flow muffler which helps to release horsepower and torque while also raising the volume and making the exhaust note throatier and with more of a burble than stock.

This is the original Supersprint street rear muffler for the E46 M3. It's a direct replacement for the stock rear muffler but with less restriction and better flow. This exhaust is not overly loud (conforming to European noise restrictions) and no drone but is larger and heavier than the other Supersprint mufflers. This performance muffler for the 6-cylinder 528i will give a bit more sportiness to the character of the car. It's a free-flow sport exhaust with less restriction than the stock muffler system so a bit more power and torque can be gained as well. With twin 80mm polished tips this muffler also gives the F10 a more muscular appearance.

Supersprint builds their exhausts from the muffler-forward and tunes each section along the way. They're not just adjusting sound levels and tone but also backpressure and flow. The goal is to achieve power and torque gains in concert with a pleasing sound. This M235i muffler uses 4 80mm exhaust tips to give the back end a more Motorsport theme (like an M3/M4). The stock bumper and valence will require trimming to clear.
