These heavy-duty clutch kits use aluminum lightweight flywheels with sport clutch components to give your clutch the grip and clamping force it needs to cope with high torque upgrades. Our kits were developed through racing programs by companies affiliated with our own race team - JB Racing, Sachs Sport, OS Giken, and UUC Motorwerks. JB Racing is the leader in aluminum lightweight flywheel upgrades. They are direct replacements for the stock dual-mass flywheels with steel contact surfaces and computer balanced to 14,000 RPM. JB has partnered with Sachs to spec sport/HD clutch discs and pressure plates that work seamlessly with their aluminum flywheels. The result is a clutch/flywheel upgrade package that functions a lot like the original clutch combo with near-stock levels of effort and engangement but with a much higher torque capacity. Upgraded clutch plate with sprung 6 puck ceramic button disc designed to be used with aftermarket single mass flywheels. 170% Increase in Holding Capacity The FX400 System uses the Power Plus I, Hi-Levarage, Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate with a custom and extremely durable, Sprung Ceramic disc. This is the ultimate extreme duty street and/or road/drag racing system. It is available in a 6 or 8 ceramic puck configuration. The 6-puck being the more aggressive setup and 8-puck being the less aggressive. The sprung hub design allows for moderate dampening in high-torque applications, rendering it much more street friendly than solid or rigid designs. This disc is designed for long life, outstanding holding capacity, and rapid heat dissipation. The FX400/HDCL (8-puck) ceramic full face disc design creates a quick and rapid engagement and maintains minimal chatter due to the marcel cushion between the disc linings. This disc is designed for street driven vehicles. The FX400/HDC6 (6-Puck) ceramic paddle design creates a quick and rapid engagement as well as clutch chatter that may not be ideal for street driven vehicles. *Warning* Due to the solid (no Marcel) friction rivet design, the FX400 6 disc engages very quickly and may chatter slightly in first and reverse. To help alleviate this problem, we only use premium ceramic friction material. Heavy-Duty 4 or 6 puck or Segmented 8 Puck Ceramic Button Disc Premium Ceramic Friction Material Heavy-Duty Sprung Hub (when applicable) No Marcel OEM or better Release Bearing Pilot Bearing (when applicable) Alignment Tool Instruction Card Decals *Ceramic based clutch disc are not intended to increase the life expectancy of a clutch but rather to increase the holding capacity and improve the durability of the clutch. Using a ceramic based material for easy street driving may reduce the life of the clutch kit due to harsh engagement and higher tendency to slip the clutch kit. Ceramic disc are never recommended for stock or near stock vehicle applications.

The ultimate in holding power! 1 sprung ceramic disc, and 1 fiber tuff rigid disc. The Clutch Masters FX850 is an 8.5” (216mm) Twin Disc clutch is the ultimate in twin disk performance for engines/transmissions with smaller bell-housings. Clutch Masters FX850 Twin Disc systems are pure racing technology that also work well in high performance street applications. The FX850 is designed to hold tremendous horsepower and torque, while maintaining reasonable peddle pressure to operate on the track. By increasing the clamping force of the pressure plate and adding to the square inches of usable disc area, Clutch Master FX850 Twin Discs significantly increase clamping rates with an average of 50% increase in pedal pressure depending on the application. The cover assembly is machined from billet aluminum and is then Type 3 hard anodized. The billet covers have roughly 25% more tensile strength than the competition’s cast unit. By focusing on machining the strongest cover possible while maintaining minimal weight, we are basically able to eliminate any flex in the cover. The billet covers see only .003” of flex where as a cast or stamped unit can see as much as .030” of flex. By eliminating this flex in the cover, the driver is able to operate the clutch much more consistently and confidently. All the movement being applied to the diaphragm of the clutch from the throwout bearing is used solely to engage and disengage the clutch and isn’t wasted by the cover flexing first. The strength of the covers also results in greater clamping force over the same amount of area vs. a cast or stamped cover. This means these twin discs are easy to drive and have superior clamping force to make sure all the power your engine is making is being utilized.

The Ultimate Clutch Pedal is a short throw design and sits 15mm lower than the original pedal position. There's less 'leg lift' to put your foot at the top of the pedal.
