Square wheel sets include a complete set of wheels with identical dimensions for front and rear. Many OE wheels setups run square fitment as it keeps manufacturing costs lower, and offers predictable and even grip levels at all four corners. An added benefit of running a square set is reduced tire costs. Generally tires are cheaper when purchased as a complete set and are much easier to source.
