While most BMWs utilize wheels with a smaller 72.6mm centerbore and higher offset (ET35-ET50), only a few (such as the E70/71) use a larger 74.1mm centerbore and a lower offset (ET20-ET26). As a result, wheel options for 74.1CB hubs can prove to be somewhat limited. Our 74.1 to 72.6 wheel adapters allow you to safely install OEM or aftermarket 72.6 CB wheels on your 74.1 CB BMW, vastly expanding your wheel options. For these cars, conventional 72.6mm wheel spacers aren't a viable option. Enter ECS Tuning. ECS Tuning engineers have designed conventional and bolt-on style hub centric center-bore adapter wheel spacers in offset adjustments ranging from 13mm to 30mm. Constructed of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum, ECS spacers are designed in-house and precision CNC machined to exacting standards. We have carefully evaluated the tolerances of the OEM hub flange and wheel bore dimensions to achieve precise fitment with minimal clearance between wheel and hub mating surfaces, ensuring stock like vibration free operation. Our larger thickness options (25mm and 30mm) are bolt-on designs constructed with press in nut inserts constructed of high strength carbon steel to meet ISO class 10 hardware specification. ECS also includes low profile ISO 898 class 10.9 wheel bolts to bolt the adapters to the hub. Our adapters have been subjected to FEA simulation analysis to ensure worry free operation when pushed to the limit.
