Strong stopping power - Increased coefficient of friction offers satisfying stopping power when cold (a necessity for a street pad!) and even more G-force-inducing power when they warm up. With cold and warm friction comparable to Hawk HPS (and higher than many other street pads) the stopping experience with the EP24 pad is impressive for street-driven vehicles on streetable tires. Positive initial bite - Race pads have the reputation of acting like an on/off switch, which is a no-go for a pad for a street application. The EP24 offers OE-level initial bite for low-stress braking in stop-and-go situations. Reasonable dust - Race pads utilize a high metallic composition. Pads that use high amounts of metal not only dust terribly, but also will bake onto wheels with high temperatures and are a bear to clean. This is not the case with these performance street pads. Now using these pads on most of our shop cars, we’ve found over time that dust is comparable to factory pads in most applications (with greatly improved braking performance). Quiet braking - It’s not a race pad, so it shouldn’t squeal like one. While not as quiet as our ceramic DD23 pad, you’ll still be able to drive your spouse to dinner. Long life - This should be an obvious one. Even in a performance pad, your daily driver pads should last and last, so that was key in selecting our ideal compound. This compound wears slower and is kinder to rotors than two of the top competitors.

F30 M Performance brakes for your E9X 325/328/330/335! This kit uses the factory M Performance front and rear Brembo multi-piston calipers and rotors for a bolt on braking upgrade. Everything comes complete -

• Independently tested for DOT compliance to the FMVSS 571.106 standard for brake lines
• Volumetric expansion verified at 17% of the maximum allowable for low expansion hose at 1500 psi, with a burst strength of nearly 2.5x the required minimum.
• Tensile pull strength of nearly double the minimum requirement. Whip resistance of over double the required test limit. Passes 24hr salt spray test with flying colors 24hr salt spray test - no white or red rust.
• Exceptional resistance to expansion under extreme line pressure results in improved pedal feel and braking response. Each line quality inspected and pressure tested to 3000psi.

• Weight savings: save 2 lbs per axle versus the genuine BMW rotor.
• Increased thermal capacity and Improved cooling:  
  • Heat convection (due to air flow) is considered the most important mode of heat dissipation in rotor design. The key to this is adequate air flow through the rotor.
  • ECS 2-Piece rotors feature side-specific directionally curved vanes which pump air through the rotor at a higher velocity, leading to consistent, rapid cooling on both sides equally.   
  • The air velocity in curved vane rotors is higher than pillar-post rotors and straight vane rotors, and as such curved vane rotors have been shown to cool more effectively.
• Manufacturing quality: Manufactured exclusively for ECS Tuning in an ISO 9001 certified facility
• Testing:  ECS 2-piece rotors have been subjected to thousands of miles of hard street use and to the elements (including snow and salt) for years. They have also been subjected to scientific brutal stress testing on the track and brake dyno, performing countless high-speed stops in quick succession.  We have measured stopping distances and elevated rotor temperatures of over 1000*F for long sustained periods (to the point of rotor bluing and catching brake pads on fire), as well as subjecting rotors to careful post-test inspection for signs of irregular wear, warping, stress cracking, or any other signs of failure.

• ECS rotors have proven themselves to be robust, demonstrating excellent wear characteristics, no warping, no thermal stress cracking, no signs of hot spots and minimal pad glazing.​

This is a direct fit to all non-M E9X and comes with a lot more braking power than standard (especially on non-335 models). You can use any F30 brake pad with these (OE BMW come standard) so there are a lot of street and track pad options. The rear calipers have been especially modified to work with the ECS caliper bracket.

Requires 18" wheels and wheel spacers may be required depending on wheel spoke design.
