Every 60-80,000 miles, we recommend replacing your spark plugs to ensure your ignition system is running optimally. Over time carbon can build up around the head of the spark plug and decrease spark strength and effectiveness, leading to weaker fuel mixture detonation, misfires, and potential check engine lights. Bav Auto's Ignition coils feature core windings that have been modified to increase firepower and promote a faster, more efficient burn. This gives your BMW/MINI increased torque in the lower range of RPM and more horsepower in the upper range. Exact improvements depend on the current condition of your engine, but you'll definitely feel the difference. They'll also improve your fuel economy.

• 5 quarts of Pentosin DCTF-1 fluid
• DCT transmission cartridge and suction filters
• Drain and fill plugs

Please note: We include 5 quarts of DCT fluid because without a GT1 diagnostic tool and much more involved labor, you will not be able to replace over 5 quarts of fluid. Many elect to do this service and simply flush the fluid 5,000 miles later to ensure all fluid has been flushed, but this is not mandatory.

Both the cartridge and suction filters have their own challenges in replacing. For best results, replace both.

Over time, the transmission fluid becomes thick and the filter becomes contaminated with small metal particles. This can cause excess wear, high transmission operating temperatures, and eventual failure. To prevent this we recommend changing your filter, fluid, and seals to ensure your transmission continues to operate flawlessly. We recommend filter and fluid changes every 50,000 miles.

Just like the rest of your vehicle's major systems, the cooling system must also be addressed periodically to ensure proper cooling and component reliability. The coolant itself can degrade or become contaminated, leading to potential corrosion or freezing issues. Finally, thermostats and sensors can fail completely, preventing proper cooling and/or coolant temperature readings to become inaccurate.

This is a compete cooling system overhaul kit, which includes all the common cooling system failure parts bundled into a complete package. This cooling system package is for the E90/92/93 328i/328xi with the N52 engine. 

A failure in the cooling system can lead to overheating and catastrophic engine failure. Don't gamble your engine! By replacing these core items preventatively, such as the thermostat housing, radiator, and waterpump, you are defusing what could be a ticking cooling system time bomb.
