Worn rubber differential mounts will lead to the differential twisting and shifting around in the rear subframe. Not only will this be noisy but it's bad for driver confidence and bad for the chassis as well. Even on fresh rubber bushings the differential has deflection and twist, especially if the car has been modified for more torque. Since the differential is centrally mounted in the rear subframe, with all suspension mounts interconnected, a differential with too much deflection will affect handling and could even damage the rear subframe.

These 88A urethane E46 diff mounts are much stiffer than stock but still not as solid as our Turner aluminum/Delrin bushings. This set will resist twisting much better than the stock rubber mounts. Included are the two front diff mounts and the rear mount in the cover.

Rear trailing arm bushings serve the key purpose of keeping rear suspension triangulated and the vehicle moving where it's directed to. Though failure prone, even factory-fresh OEM rubber bushings allow for deflection, causing suspension geometry changes on hard launches, over bumps in the road, and during cornering. This deflection results in clunking in the rear end, a “rear steer” feeling, and uneven tire wear.

Powerflex polyurethane rear trailing arm bushings are firmer than OEM bushings, resulting in a reduction of deflection that causes these suspension angle changes, improving handling over bumps and with a proper alignment, extending tire wear.

Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings.

Poweflex is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket suspension bushings. Using state of the art design and manufacturing, all replacement bushings are engineered to out-perform and out-last the ones that came in the car. Each line of bushings is meticulously tested and then re-tested to ensure perfect fitment and enduring quality through the life of the vehicle. A full lifetime warranty backs every one of their products and demonstrates the level of confidence and commitment Powerflex has to their customers.

2 way adjustable 27mm front sway bar / swaybar for E46 323/325/328/330. Includes bushings.

  • Reduces body roll
  • Improves steering turn-in and handling
Sway bars are typically sold as a front and rear set to balance the handling. But a front sway bar only can also have excellent benefits, especially on a street car. Going with a larger front bar will improve steering and handling even at low-moderate speeds. Steering turn-in is faster and gives the car a more direct and responsive feel. Cars with staggered wheel fitments (a narrower front wheel compared to the rear) will especially benefit from this and help the front tire 'bite' into the road.

We use an adjustable 27mm sway bar that has been fine-tuned for use on the E46 non-M models. Urethane bushings with a reinforced inner core that requires no lubrication are included. These bars are crafted from a special spring steel that is both stronger and more resilient than competitive sway bars. They have been shot peened and heat treated, and feature precision forged ends.

Fits RWD models only (not 325xi/330xi).

Made in the USA The rear subframe is the heart of the BMW rear suspension. Not only do all of the suspension arms attach to it, the driveline runs through it via the differential and half-shafts. Therefore, a track-prepped E46 should never see any flex or deflection in any of the subframe mounts. Excessive movement here transfers to unwanted suspension motions elsewhere and is also a major contributor to failures in the rear floor sheetmetal.

While our Delrin-Aluminum subframe mounts conform to various racing series these all-aluminum mounts are the ultimate in reducing flex and deflection. The rubber stock mounts, and the Delrin mounts to a small degree, flex and deflect as various forces are applied throughout the subframe - on and off throttle loading, cornering on flat surfaces, bumpy surfaces, weight transfer, sticky race tires, etc. Too much flex from worn rubber mounts will transfer to flex where the subframe meets the chassis/floor. This is the primary cause for the infamous rear subframe failure. These fully solid aluminum mounts have absolutely zero flex to them so they will not contribute to rear subframe issues. The Turner E46 Reinforcement Kit is still recommended.

These solid subframe mounts were designed for racing use only, where we won several sports car championships in the Grand-Am Cup series. These subframe mounts are over-engineered to be a major improvement over the stock subframe mounts not only for performance but also in strength as well. The aluminum is CNC machined for a precise fit and minimal weight. One front bushing is slotted to allow for BMW's manufacturing tolerances. Professional and experienced installation is required.

Building on years of building some of the most used (and talked about!) Street and Race camber plates for the E46 M3 has brought us to the next iteration of this key suspension component. Introducing the Turner Motorsport Hybrid Street/Track Caster/Camber Plate designed exclusively for the E46 M3.

Front caster/camber plates play a key role in suspension configuration - providing a point to adjust alignment in the front of the vehicle. Without camber plates, it is not possible to dial in proper street and track alignment specifications to maximize handling and tire wear. A properly configured alignment is frequently the difference between a good car and a great car, trailing the pack and pace-setting lap times, frustrating tire wear and long tire life, or exhilarating handling and a car that fights through the turns.

Understanding the needs of a track enthusiast, our Race camber plates allow for zero deflection and are ideal for a dedicated track vehicle. For a dedicated street vehicle, our Street camber plates are another tried-and-true option that are comfortable and perform very well. Hearing the call from customers that don't fall cleanly into one of these groups, we've designed the best of both worlds - a rebuildable polyurethane-isolated spherical bearing, or as we call it, a "hybrid" design. These camber plates deliver exceptional lifespan, high performance, with excellent road manners.

We paid extra attention to the bearing we selected, knowing we needed a bearing that would not only be quiet, but reliable. Tens of thousands of street and track miles on a variety of applications yielded zero failures of the high quality PTFE-lined, maintenance-free stainless steel monoball spherical FK bearing. One of our secrets in enabling this high-performance bearing to function to its full potential is the 80a polyurethane isolation bushing. We identified just the right material density to allow for absorption of road noise while allowing dampers to articulate precisely and predictably. This tiny bit of cushion takes the brunt of potholes and rough roads, protecting the bearing from wear which may otherwise lead to premature failure. Equally critical to maximizing bearing life is the addition of dust seals to prevent moisture and dirt contamination.  To top it all off, the entire assembly is rebuildable in the event that, over the years, a component does wear out.

By re-using the OEM spring perch and radial bearing, we've avoided supporting the weight of the vehicle on the strut shaft monoball - further extending the life of the bearing and mimicking a well-designed factory element. Spring perches for 60mm or 2.5" springs are also available; use of factory-style springs requires no additional perch. Inspect the shocks you plan on using these with, measuring the shock diameter (16mm or 14mm) and inspecting the seat (square or tapered) to ensure you select the correct kit for your application. Not sure which you need? Give us a call, we're happy to help.

    • Adjustable camber (3+ degrees of adjustment) and caster (2.5+ degrees of adjustment) without removing strut from the vehicle
    • Wide plate assembly offers excellent load distribution to address concerns with strut tower deformation
    • Compatible with factory-style springs, or with the addition of available 60mm or 2.5" perches, race-style springs as well
    • Maintenance free, PTFE lined, stainless steel monoball spherical bearing for full shaft articulation
    • 80A polyurethane isolation bushings for noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) control
    • Rebuildable bushing/bearing assembly with individually replaceable components

This E36 or Z3 front control arm is a direct replacement for the original part and is the OEM Lemforder brand.

Control arms, and their integrated ball joints, are some of the most crucial components on a BMW suspension. The control arms literally control the wheel and suspension as they go through their range of motions. A faulty or worn control arm or ball joint is a very dangerous and potentially life-threatening problem so make sure they are inspected and replaced at regular intervals. For a street-driven car we advise yearly inspection and a full replacement every 3-4 years. For track-driven cars these should be inspected before every event and replaced every two years.

We also recommend replacing the bushings when changing the control arms. The bushings are mounted at the back of the control arm and located the arm to the frame rail on the car. The stock bushings are rubber and will wear out sooner than the control arms themselves. With the control arm off the car now is the perfect time to also replace the bushings.

OEM Lemfrder is an engineering company that focuses on high-quality, precision manufacturing of critical suspension and steering components. Providing exceptionally high quality parts directly to BMW, as well as 50+ other big name automotive companies, such as Mercedes and Audi, their history of reliability and variety of offered parts makes them one of the biggest names for a go-to OEM parts provider. Lemfrder parts place an important emphasis on design, production, and assembly, ensuring maximum reliability. They even coat all parts possible with corrosion protection for extended longevity.

As a leading source of high performance BMW parts and accessories since 1993, we at Turner Motorsport are honored to be the go-to supplier for tens of thousands of enthusiasts the world over. With over two decades of parts, service, and racing experience under our belt, we provide only quality performance and replacement parts. All of our performance parts are those we would (and do!) install and run on our own cars, as well as replacement parts that are Genuine BMW or from OEM manufacturers. We only offer parts we know you can trust to perform!

The E36/E46 rear trailing arm bushings (RTABs) wear out faster than any other bushing on the car. Worn RTAB will cause excessive toe alignment change and give a 'loose' or 'floaty' feeling in the rear handling. One of the reasons for this is that they over-extend during motion, stretching and twisting the rubber in all directions. These shims sit on either side of the bushing and limit the amount of extension from the bushing. Not only will you get more life from your RTAB but these will help stiffen the bushing during cornering. But during normal driving you will still have all of the comfort of the stock rubber bushings. These part about these bushings is how easy they are to install - simply slide them in place during your bushing install. They can be added to pre-installed bushings too by dropping the trailing arm and removing the cage around the bushing.

Works with stock rubber bushings only (not urethane or Delrin).

Differential bushings are responsible for keeping the differential in solid alignment while dampening drivetrain vibration. While OE rubber bushings are fine when they are new from the factory, aged and worn out rubber bushings create a multitude of issues that can range from annoying to dangerous. As a factory bushing ages, it begins to harden and become brittle. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow for movement at the differential mounting point. At this point, the differential is free to shift under load causing a noticeable clunking noise under acceleration and deceleration and massively increasing the stress on the driveshaft and axles. Manual transmissions suffer the worst from this as it can make shifting difficult since the differential will shift when the clutch is engaged and disengaged.

By replacing these bushings with full polyurethane, the movement is eliminated since the mounting point is supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. This means less stress on the driveshaft and axles and greater longevity of supporting components.

Powerflex Black Series bushings are the ultimate in track and race bushings. Featuring 95A durometer polyurethane, Black Series bushings are 25% stiffer than street bushings. Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved acceleration response, more direct shifting feel and overall improved drivetrain composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane bushings.

BMW has tuned a comfortable yet performance oriented suspension system across their model offering. The springs used are a very sophisticated design with both tapered wire diameter and progressive spring rates to ensure the best possible ride quality under varying loads and conditions. Due to environmental conditions, the original coating is commonly compromised thus creating a weak point which yields to failure (cracked springs). Here at Turner we understand the importance of an upgrade that will get the results you need on the track and still be tolerable on the drive around town. When it comes to control arms on the track, making them as stiff as you can (usually using solid mounts) is the best way to increase your driving precision by eliminating the deflection of rubber. The next best thing to create a balance would be to stiffen up the control arm with polyurethane, giving you the option of a more stock like feel with 80a or closer to the solid feel with 95a durometers. These poly bushings will give your control arms a direct connection between your suspension and the body of the car eliminating the slop felt under take-off and braking so you feel more in control of your vehicle.

Already pressed into bracket so you can get right to the install.

*Featuring a delrin sleeve to eliminate heat deformation and premature failure.

To secure shocks and struts to their mounts, the retaining nut must be torqued to its proper specification using a torque wrench. An improper torque value may result in premature mount failure - or worse. Strut nut sockets allow for the use of an allen wrench to hold the damper shaft while utilizing your 1/2" drive torque wrench on the socket to achieve proper torque.

These camber plates are perfect for the enthusiast owner who wants a high quality design with a motorsports background. Knowing a full race kit on the street is not often the best option, we took the best features from the Race Camber Plates and incorporated them into a fresh Street design -

    • preserves the correct E46 M3 geometry
    • separate sliding camber and caster adjustments
    • maximum shock travel
    • light weight
    • durable materials
    • large surface area
    • ease of use

The Turner E46 M3 Street Camber Plates are the most advanced design on the market. These are designed specifically for the E46 M3 - no shortcuts or cookie-cutter components. We started with a fresh design to make these very user friendly and easy to install and set up. The E46 M3 front suspension has unique geometry and the strut is mounted at an angle that can put significant side loading on the strut shaft if it's not located properly. The location and angles for the main bearing were carefully engineered to allow the proper motion ratio and strut angles during adjustment. This greatly reduces bending forces on the strut itself which improves performance and longevity. By designing for one chassis we're able to focus on what works best in that application - proper fitment and operation without unnecessary adapters, easy-to-use camber and caster adjustments, and an intelligent modular design.

For street use we added a pliable urethane bushing to absorb vibration and a special base design that works with the factory radial bearing and spring perch. The radial bearing allows the spring to rotate instead of twisting and binding. By re-using the factory radial bearing we can keep the assembled stack height lower for maximized shock travel. It's also a commonly-available item that you can get from any BMW dealer at a low price. All of the things that make it work well in the factory application carry over to our design. You can use our camber plates with a stock sized spring, 60mm, or 2.5" springs. Use your stock spring perch/bearing with stock-sized springs. The 60mm and 2.5" upper spring perches are sold separately. The beauty of our design is that you can use the factory radial bearing with any of these springs.

Another important feature of the Turner Camber Plates is the size of the upper plate. Our plates have a very large surface area to better spread strut forces through the strut tower. A smaller upper plate, like those found on competitor's kits, will localize strut forces and contribute to strut tower deformation ('strut tower mushrooming'). This is a very important feature especially as these cars get older and spend more time on the track. Deformed strut towers are a serious performance and safety concern and our camber plates are properly designed to handle the loads. The factory strut reinforcement plates are not required with our camber plates (but you can use them if you want to).

Since this design is specific to the E46 M3, we can build it with the bare minimum of adapters and extra hardware. This not only cuts down on confusion but makes it easier to assemble and operate. We use the correct-sized bearing for the 16mm strut shaft; no sleeves or bearing adapters required. The original tapered lower mount support and a small stainless steel spacer from our kit are all that's required to install. We have used our camber plates with most of the major strut manufacturers on the market - stock Sachs/Boge, Bilstein, Koni, H&R, ST, and KW. Our camber plates work with any strut that is designed to accept the factory strut mount.

These front adjustable camber/caster plates will replace your stock front upper strut bearing. The KMAC plates are a 'floating' design so camber and caster are adjusted together. This design allows maximum range of adjustment since no other hardware interferes with the adjustments. Since these replace your stock strut bearings they are designed to work with a stock-type spring only. And when installed correctly will not significantly alter ride height. Adjustment is easily done by loosening the three nuts on top of the tower and sliding the camber plate into the position you want, then re-tighten the nuts. These mounts can be installed two ways - for camber correction or swapped side-side for increasing negative camber. Detailed instructions included.

Note: suspensions vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Turner Motorsport cannot be responsible for fitment issues caused by non-stock or specialized coil-over suspensions. As with any race-derived component, additonal fabrication may be required.

    Lemforder
This control arm upgrade was used on the high-performance 330i ZHP Performance Package and offered by BMW as a sport retrofit. These arms are identical dimensions as the regular arms so they are a direct replacement. But they have all metal ball joints instead of plastic or rubber. This means they last a lot longer and are much stronger. We used these in our Grand Am and World Challenge E46 racecars with excellent performance.

Lemforder is the original equipment supplier to BMW for these control arms.

OEM Lemförder is an engineering company that focuses on high-quality, precision manufacturing of critical suspension and steering components. Looking for coilovers that will provide reliability on street driven vehicles but are also capable of feeding your weekend track demon's desire for performance? BC Racing's BR Series coilover kit may be just the thing for you.

BR Series coilovers are the most popular and versatile option offered by BC racing, offering features such as 30-level dampening adjustment (simultaneous compression and rebound control), linear springs where possible, and a minimum of 2 inches ride height drop. To ensure performance, comfort, and quality, all BR Series kits are Dyno tested during the design stage to determine the best valving and spring rates, then installed and tested for a minimum of 6 months. This kit features mounts and brackets that are fully compatible with all stock mounting points and components.

The upper shock/strut mounts are all constructed of 6061-T6 Aluminum for strength and weight savings. BC Racing design 1 of 3 types of upper mounts for each vehicle: Caster/Camber Plates (+/- 3* camber), Camber Plates (+/- 3* camber), and Rubber Mount Plates (NVH reduction). The included mount option for this kit is shown in the kit specs and features below.

Lower shock mounts are powder coated for corrosion protection and constructed of either 6061-T6 aluminum that has been milled from a single piece (fork or bolt eye mount) or of STKM13C steel with all brackets welded robotically.

The included springs come in one of 3 styles: linear, S-barrel, and V-barrel. Linear springs are used in most applications unless limited by the OE design that does not allow the use of linear springs. All spring options are made from SAE9254 steel and have a zinc coating applied under the powder coating for increased spring corrosion protection and long term reliability.

All shock bodies used in the BR Series coilovers use a 53mm shock body (unless noted otherwise) for added strength, performance, and increased fluid capacity. All shocks are then powder coated black chrome for clean styling and corrosion protection.

Control arm bushings play a key role in connecting the wheels to the chassis of the vehicle. Tasked with keeping suspension geometry in check while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber bushings were engineered to provide a balance of comfort and control. As a factory bushing ages, it becomes brittle and begins to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play in the suspension joint. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk forward after the car comes to a stop and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushing with a full polyurethane unit or using a bushing insert, this play is eliminated since the suspension joint is being supported by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time. Additionally, the inherent stiffness of the urethane material translates body forces much more directly. This means steering inputs from the driver are effectively transferred to the wheels and vital road information is transmitted properly from the wheels to the driver.

Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings.

Tasked with keeping the vehicles rear end firmly mounted while absorbing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) factory rubber subframe bushings were engineered to provide a balance of control while keeping the ride quality soft and supple. As a factory bushings age, they become brittle and begin to harden. When this happens the bushing will actually shrink and allow excess play, or movement in the subframe. This is typically felt by a sudden jerk or "thunking" noise under acceleration and is a leading cause of "sloppy" or "loose" suspension feel. By replacing the bushings with full polyurethane this play is eliminated since the subframe is being held in place by a much stiffer material that will not harden or shrink over time.

Our experience with spherical front control armball joints go back to those we designed and used in our IMSA E90 328i and E92 M3 racecars (GS class Champions in 2011).We wanted to offer e30, e36, and e46 owners similar levels of handling precision and control for the track and street, but werent satisfied with the other options out there. Instead of a Delrin bushing or unsealed spherical bearing alone, we selected an oversized sealed greaseable spherical monoball to offer unparalleled durability and precision, but designed a Delrin adapter sleeve to help isolate the added noise, vibration, and harshness that a full solid monoball bearing will have. While race-ready,our hybrid Delrin/monoball control arm bearings are more at home on the street than other kits that are advertised asrace-only bearings. We did extensive street, autocross, and track testing to ensure the spherical bearing used in this bushing design excelled in each setting.

The stock rubber bushings, eventhose found in the M3,allow significant fore/aft movement of the front wheels to help absorb road impacts, especially when being pushed hard. This soft flexible design maximizes daily driving comfort, but also allows considerable alignment change. This unwanted deflectionstands between you and a crisp, confidence-inspiring driving experience. The advantage of a monoball bearing is that it will not deflect under load, eliminating all unwanted deflection while still allowingcomplete freedom of movementin the desired angles. What you get is superior steering precision with better handling from more consistent alignmentand direct braking feedback, with exceptional service life. Thanks to theDelrin insert and double lip seals, there's none of the extra noise or reduced service lifeoftenfound onotherspherical bearings.

In short, if you're seeking front control arm bushings that offer precise, predictable handling, crisper braking feel, with a long service life free from noise - look no further. We have you covered.

Engineered to perform, Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings offer a supreme level of control, while still providing enough comfort for the street, with advanced polyurethane that reduces NVH that often accompanies lesser bushings. Expect improved steering feel, turn in, more responsive handling and overall improved chassis composure with Powerflex performance polyurethane control arm bushings.

Lemforder is the original equipment supplier to BMW for these control arms.

OEM Lemförder is an engineering company that focuses on high-quality, precision manufacturing of critical suspension and steering components. Providing exceptionally high quality parts directly to BMW, as well as 50+ other big name automotive companies, such as Mercedes and Audi, their history of reliability and variety of offered parts makes them one of the biggest names for a go-to OEM parts provider. Lemförder parts place an important emphasis on design, production, and assembly, ensuring maximum reliability.
