This is a quality aftermarket replacement aluminum thermostat housing for cars with the M20 6 cylinder engine - 325e, 325i, 528e, 525i. This is the side of the housing that mounts to the cylinder head and has openings for the various coolant / engine temperature sensors. There are 4 ports for sensors so check your existing housing for the sensor layout.
