PFF5-5452 Engine Mount Insert is a two-piece kit made using our Red 65A durometer material, designed to fill the void of the OE rubber mount to limit drivetrain movement and sharpen throttle response on standard or mildly tuned vehicles. Mount rigidity is increased by 100%. A small increase in NVH, usually at idle, should be expected when stiffening the connecting mount between the engine/transmission and chassis. The Powerflex silicone grease is the only lubricant we suggest for long, squeak free operation. The lubricant contains silicone that resists heat and water and keeps a more constant viscosity to allow it to stay in the bushing as temperatures increase. The lubricant also does not lose it's lubrication properties over time like an anti-seize type lubricant. Each pack will lube 2 large bushings or 4 small.
