BMW S65 BE Bearings Connecting Rod Bearing Upgrade Set is designed to address the known flaws in the factory BMW rod bearings, particularly for the S65B40 engine. Manufactured by Clevite to BE Bearing specifications, this set provides a crucial upgrade with its enhanced materials and design, ensuring improved performance and durability.
The original BMW bearings have minimal clearance, which leads to premature wear and potential engine failure. This upgrade replaces the tin-aluminum factory bearings with a superior silver-oxide-coated tri-metal "F" series design. The new bearings can handle 30% more load, offer better performance in low oil conditions, and are more forgiving of foreign particles in the oil. Designed specifically for BMW S65 engines, these bearings provide optimal performance for high-horsepower applications.

Designed by BE Bearings, manufactured by ARP. These custom made rod bolts are designed to be used on BMW factory connecting rods. BE Bearings worked with ARP to come up with custom rod bolt torque specifications to ensure minimal rod big end bore distortion. Their bolts have been measured and verified to guarantee minimal bore distortion, and stay within the ARP torque specification.
